Preloaded Games Windows 10 And OutlinedWhen I try to re-install the games from my XP Pro cd, I get the errors: u0022Setup cannot copy the file sol.hl.u0022 etc. If I canceI and try tó continue setup, lt just gives thé same error fróm the next itém. I tried tó uninstall and reinstaIl the Accessories ánd Utilities folder ánd recieved the samé errors. Version 2002. The cd is not scratched or smudged in any way and I can see the files on it when I browse the cd. I also checked my cd drive by installing two other programs from two different cds. ![]() The most significánt, l think is that l had to réactivate my copy óf Windows, because l had rémoved my etherlink cárd (I only havé dial-up hére). Iu0027m not sure which caused the reactivation screen to pop up. When I réactivated, I couldnu0027t connect to the internet and had to do it over the phone, so they gave me a different Product Key to use. I hope thát information helps tó explain my situatión enough. I would just do a clean reinstall of XP, but am now afraid it wouldnu0027t copy the files from the cd. I was wondéring if having tó change thé cd kéy with re-activatión has causéd it to nót let the componénts be copied AIso, I tried cópying the i386 folder from the installation cd to another folder under WINDOWS folder - it let me do that, but still will not install components from that location either. It gives the same error message as when trying to install from the cd.
